Crowdsourced Geospatial Infrastructure for Coastal Management and Planning for Emerging Post COVID-19 Tourism Demand

In recent years, the use of crowdsourcing has positively transformed way geographic information is collected, stored and analyzed. Many countries have promoted funded research into potential using in various fields governance. This paper focuses on developing a methodology for fast, low-cost reliable coastal management touristic purposes Greece. particular, group professional surveyor developed trained two volunteers to collect variety data points interest about public zone, such as area size free unused space, rocky areas, parking spaces (organized or not), land types, build up green municipal lighting, pedestrian crossing points, beach umbrellas, path routes, street furniture, etc. A pilot case study was compiled part Athenian Riviera check methodology.
